Two walnut and formica wall mount storage cabinets or credenzas designed by florence knoll for knoll associates. Early production in beautiful walnut wood with white doors, leather/brass handles, interiors and shelves. One cabinet with drop down doors revealing adjustable shelves and open storage. The other has sliding doors revealing the same. The cabinets remain in a very good condition, very rare to find a set of two in such great condition. Outstanding examples of this design. Could also be mounted as one long sideboard on the same height. The walnut has a lovely patina and shows very few scratches and scuffs. And the doors show very light use. Overall, this credenza is in very good vintage condition with some light wear apparent. Please see photos. Florence knoll was a furniture designer and entrepreneur trained by bauhaus designers among the likes of walter gropius and mies van der rohe. Her commitment to function and organization earned her a reputation for subtle but beautiful, practically designed furniture. Please contact us for the best shipping options and price.
