Italian model pendant light Gem by Paul Andreu for Guzzini

Vintage design. Imposing suspension by the Italian manufacturer Iguzzini, designed by architect Paul Andreu. The design was created for the expansion of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. The Gem is a functional lamp with the character of an object. It floats in the room as a transparent and dazzling body. A particular feature lies in the materiality. The two shells of the lamp body are made of polycarbonate. The surface is partially transparent, partially with a satin pattern. Inside is a perforated aluminium reflector. The four suspension points can be rotated, allowing the lamp to be freely suspended diagonally in the airspace. The Gem is weatherproof and therefore also suitable for outdoor use. The four wire cables for suspension are separate. The lamp is still new and in its original packaging.
