Vintage danish teak kidney desk, 1950s. Danish mid-century modern freestanding organically shaped writing desk made in denmark in the 1950s. Kidney shaped table top in teak veneer. Drawer section with three drawers with sculpted pulls in solid teak. Round corner cabinet with curved door. The back features open shelf and a cabinet with hinged door. Standing on four round tapered legs. Very elegant handcrafted desk from danish master carpenter in the style of kai kristiansen/ gunnar nielsen. A sculptural design that would fit both in the home office or the living room. Good original condition, solid and stable construction. Refurbished, cleaned and polished. Ready for use.
