Teak Hulmefa Propos series highboard

Very beautiful and elegant Dutch design highboard produced by Hulmefa. This cabinet is from the Propos series, made in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The cabinet is veneered in teak wood with wenge details, such as the recessed square handles. This highboard consists of 4 drawers, a flap, and two large doors with 2 shelves. The cabinets from the Propos series are very similar to the well-known Japanese series designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, but in our opinion, this cabinet has slightly nicer details. For example, the hinges are nicely concealed in this model and the handles are made of wood instead of plastic. The cabinet is 130 cm high, 150 cm wide, and 42.5 cm deep. Condition: The cabinet is in good vintage condition.
