Vintage Meredew Teak Sideboard | 1960s | Mid-Century British Design A beautifully elegant mid-century vintage teak sideboard by Meredew, dating from circa 1960, and a superb example of the refined British furniture design of the period. Crafted from wonderfully warm, naturally grained teak, this sideboard combines clean architectural lines with excellent everyday functionality. Its understated silhouette and beautiful wood grain make it equally at home in a classic mid-century interior or a more contemporary setting. The carefully balanced design features a double-door cabinet on the left, providing generous concealed storage, together with two spacious drawers ideal for cutlery, table linen, documents or smaller household essentials. The simple, minimalist lines are quintessentially mid-century modern, while the rich teak adds warmth and depth to the overall design. Raised on elegant legs, the sideboard has a beautifully light and refined appearance. Perfect as a dining room sideboard, living room storage cabinet, media or entertainment console, or simply as a stylish statement piece in a hallway or larger room. All our new stock is carefully checked and, where needed, restored in our workshop. This sideboard originally had two larger marks on the top, which we have worked our magic on and almost completely removed. They are now only very slightly visible, depending on the light and viewing angle. The condition is reflected in the price.
