Victor Saglier silver-plated jug with twisted ribs and rocaille feet. "VS" hallmark on the vessel under the base. Paris, late 19th century. Victor Saglier (1809-1894) was one of the most active Parisian manufacturers and publishers of tableware and object mounts; his workshops produced widely distributed silver-plated services, vases, and centerpieces. Dimensions. W: 22 cm, H: 23 cm. Condition. Good condition, slight dents from use (see photos).
