Vintage 1950s Jumo GS1 Viridian Green Desk Lamp - 55 cm

Antique desk lamp, factory workshop jumo GS1 viride green circa 1950 in good condition. It is complete, the paint is chipped particularly on the base (base which is slightly deformed) and it shows old traces of projections on the corolla, the chrome which is gleaming. A shabby chic condition for this magnificent lamp wrongly attributed to Charlotte Perriand or Eileen Gray. We can see it in the last photos on a shot of the film “La parisienne” from 1957 with Brigitte Bardot. The push switch on the base is new, it works with bayonet bulb not included. It measures 55cm high, the diameter of the base is 19cm, the same for that of the corolla which measures 17cm high and it is 30cm deep. By adopting this vintage object, you give a second life to a treasure of the past, thank you for rhyming sustainable decoration, history and gesture for the planet.
