Louis XV armchair in mahogany and red velvet

Louis XV armchair in mahogany and red velvet, belonging to the last louis XV stage, in which the classic round back appears, typical of the neoclassical period, but maintaining the cabriole legs and the movement in the shapes of the louis XV style. The wood is mahogany and it is in very good condition, it only lacks a small corner in the lower back part of the backrest. The finishing/varnish shows the passage of time, showing some not very deep scratches. The upholstery velvet is very worn on the seat and arms, but I personally love it for the decadent look it shows. The back upholstery is in very good condition. The front legs have period wheels in very good condition. It measures 65 cm wide, 68 cm deep and 98 cm high. Weighs about 20kg.
