Norwegian daybed model "svanette", 1960

Secondary sleeping sofa, known as daybed, teak and duck blue fabric, designed by architect-designer ingmar relling and published in the 1960s and 1970s by ekornes svane in trondheim, norway. These sofas come in several models: with a teak opening box, allowing to place a cushion and extend the sofa by 30 centimeters, as here in the "tablet" version on which also comes a cushion, and finally in versions 2 or 3 seats, without any extension wood on its sides. Beneath the mattress (which is opened when lifting) is a compartment to accommodate sheets and blankets. The height of the seat is 40 cm. This sofa has been fully restored by a cabinetmaker and a professional upholsterer has changed the padding and retaped the whole into a very elegant duck blue fabric. So it is in an exceptional condition.
