Antique vegetable dish in English ironstone "Princess Alexandra"

An antique ironstone dish from the 19th century by the Edward F. Bodley & Co. Factory in Burslem, Staffordshire. A rare "Princess Alexandra" model with a monochrome chocolate brown and sepia decoration in a neoclassical style. Greek frieze and decoration of flowers and antique vases. No chips, some stains and crazing present. A piece in ironstone with a lovely patina, certainly a charming item!.
