Ironstone gien 1875 bouquet of roses collection - compote dish

Footed compote in faience from the Gien factory dating from 1875, Bouquet de Roses collection. Floral decoration printed in blue-grey on a cracked cream background, central motif in a crown of roses and a dense border with scrolls — foot decorated with the same motif, a rare and meticulous detail. An exceptional piece for the table and decoration, difficult to find as a compote. Ideal as a centrepiece, on a sideboard or a shelf. Perfectly integrates into an existing Gien service or can be displayed alone. Condition: excellent. Carefully packaged and protected delivery, or free collection in Paris and Lyon.
