Dimensions: approx. 120 × 75 × 72.5 cm (width × depth × height) Two integrated extensions of 45 cm each – total length: 210 cm. Original extendable dining table, designed by Svend Aage Madsen and manufactured by K. Knudsen & Søn in Denmark in the 1960s. This is the compact version of this famous model, known for its harmonious proportions, remarkable level of finish, and timeless elegance. The delicately rounded corners, solid teak legs with soft lines, and refined details perfectly illustrate the best of Danish design from the mid-20th century. The tabletop is veneered in teak and incorporates two original extensions hidden beneath the surface. Their particularly well-designed fastening system features mitred joints, creating an extremely fine and discreet connection once the table is extended. The rounded shapes of the tabletop extend harmoniously into the solid teak legs. Condition: Surface carefully restored. The teak veneer is in excellent vintage condition with only very slight signs of use and a beautiful natural patina. A rare, elegant, and perfectly crafted Danish table.
