Vintage Vallauris ceramic jug

Vintage ceramic jug / pitcher from the 1950s - 1960s, attributed to the workshops of Vallauris (South of France). This jug, with its elongated shape and flared corolla neck, is decorated with a fantastic fish motif in bright, vibrant colours (blue, yellow, pink, green) outlined in black. The ceramic features a beautiful speckled/textured finish with a "foam" effect, very characteristic of the brutalist and creative style of the era.
