This particular table comes from the Technical University of Eindhoven, adding an extra layer of provenance and historical interest. The table features black enamelled folded sheet metal legs, characteristic of Kramer's rational and functional design language. The Formica top is finished with an elegant aluminium edge, creating a refined contrast between industrial materials and a clean modernist aesthetic. The table is in excellent vintage condition, completely original, with only minimal signs of appropriate use for its age. A highly collectible Ahrend side table/coffee table from the 1960s, designed by one of the most important Dutch designers of the post-war period. Materials: Folded sheet metal base with black enamel finish. Wooden top covered with Formica. Aluminium edge. Dimensions: diameter 80 cm, height 46 cm.
