Large Pitch Pine Jewelry Counter/Cabinet, Paris, France, 1930s

This piece of furniture was made of pitch pine in France, circa 1930s. It has 28 good sized drawers with black metal cup handles and was used to store jewellery in a Parisian boutique. It was once split into two pieces to remove it from the small shop and then put back together again. The internal dimensions of the drawers are: dwh 48 X 67 X 8 cm (4) and 46 X 28 X 15 cm (24).
