This exquisite chandelier by Stilux once adorned the offices of an Italian olive oil manufacturer from the late 1960s, and we are delighted it has made its way to us. Elegant yet playful, the design and ingenious engineering of this chandelier stand the test of time: the opaline glass shades are held in place by black metal pins and suspended from 6 arms made of brass and teak. Each arm is attached to the central piece by two screws. The chandelier is hung by a brass rod. In good condition with visible patina on the brass, this chandelier is a striking example of mid-century modernism, whether lit or unlit (designed for E17 bulbs).
