Superb vintage set consisting of 6 individual ramekins/bowls in trompe-l'œil ceramic shaped like avocados. Very detailed relief work in the style of slipware: the exterior mimics the bumpy skin of the avocado with its gradient of green, while the interior features a lovely pastel yellow shade with a painted pit in the centre. Ideal for serving starters (shrimp avocados, guacamole), tapas, or to use as a quirky and original catch-all. In very good vintage condition. Glossy glaze, vibrant colours.
