Pair of "Pelota" lamps by Casare & Ponzio

Rare set of 2 "pelota" model lamps by cesare casati and emanuele ponzio (studio da) for lamperti, italy in 1971. The lamp was designed to resemble a xistera glove (original name of Basque pelota) This lamp fits directly into the space age era. We love its organic shapes and color. Materials: orange metallic abs plastic. Dimensions: height 33 cm, width: 24 cm, length: 11 cm. Condition: abs in very good condition. Some light scratches difficult to notice and photograph on the back of one of the 2 lamps. The aluminum foil on the lower side of the lamps shows traces of its past (see Photos). the socket for one of the 2 lamps is not original (see photo).
