This 7-piece modular sofa was designed by Michel Ducaroy and produced by Ligne Roset in France during the 1970s. The set can comfortably seat up to 8 people, featuring 4 rounded seats that can be combined into a semi-circular piece, two straight single seats, and one two-seater. The five interchangeable connectors allow for flexible arrangements, including connecting the straight seats and two-seater into a large 4-seater. The original oversized pillows have been professionally reupholstered in a champagne-coloured 'Sherpa' velvet fabric, offering both comfort and luxury. The thermally shaped plexiglass frames are original Ligne Roset pieces from the 1970s. Some minor restorations have been made, but overall the set is in excellent, polished condition. Each seat is attached with new white velcro strips to prevent movement, and jute patches underneath prevent sliding. The elements can be arranged as desired, and the original printed labels by Ligne Roset are still present. It is rare to find such a large set in this condition.
