Leather art deco club chair from france, early 1900

Beautiful art deco club chair from the south of france, made around the 1920s and 1930s. The leather of this chair is printed and painted with a kind of print. This structure was printed on a large piece of leather and then painted. The graceful art deco legs are made of beech wood. Here and there these show some old woodworm holes. These have of course been treated. The chair has most likely been re-tensioned at the bottom, as it has new linen on it. This chair is still very comfortable. The seat height of this armchair is 41 cm. We have cleaned this chair and treated and greased the leather. H 88 / w 72 / d 85.
