Small antique wooden children's chair – Renovated woven seat

An antique little chair ready to live a new story. This adorable antique children's chair has all the charm of miniature furniture from the past: a turned wooden structure, a simple backrest, and a small woven seat that gives it a lot of character. Hunted down with traces of its past, it has undergone a complete renovation at Butine. The wood has been treated against pests, sanded, and then waxed to restore its softness and natural colour while preserving its lovely patina. The seat has been entirely re-woven by hand in natural cord. The small marks, irregularities, and signs of time visible on the wood have deliberately not been erased: they tell the age and history of this little chair and today contribute to its charm. With its child-sized proportions and natural materials, it will easily find its place in a bedroom, next to a small desk, to hold a doll or a bear, or simply as a lovely decorative element. Dimensions: 28 × 24 × H 50 cm. Seat height: 22 cm. Weight: 830 g. Material: wood and natural cord. Colours: natural wood and beige. Seat: entirely re-woven by hand. Renovation: wood treated against pests, sanded, and then waxed. Condition: good antique condition, with marks, small irregularities, and wood patina deliberately preserved.
