Box modernist box in wood and brass engraved DESIGN Artist JP Chevalier Dinanderie

This original jewel box is made of wood decorated with an engraved brass plate. It is a modernist work by the artist j.p. Chevalier. This box is covered with a copperware illustration: a stylized landscape animated by small characters. The interior is covered with black velvet. In beautiful general condition, it is signed jpc. I report traces of use. It measures 17 cm X 12.7 cm X 6 cm. You can keep a sewing kit, jewelry or card and dice games.
