Gueridon from the Napoleonic III era, resting on an elegantly sculpted tripod base in walnut. The circular top is adorned with veined white marble, set within a richly decorated wooden band featuring delicately engraved floral motifs, typical of the refined taste of the period. The moulded band is highlighted by a sculpted frieze at the lower part. The turned central shaft rests on three curved legs ending in scrolls, bringing balance and elegance to the whole. This small accent piece, both decorative and functional, will fit perfectly in a classic interior or contrast beautifully in a contemporary decor. Period: Napoleonic III, circa 1850-1880. Materials: Walnut, marble. Dimensions: Height: 80 cm. Diameter: approximately 55 cm. Condition: Good overall condition. Signs of use, slight stains and marks on the marble, consistent with age. Structure is sound and stable.
