Art Nouveau oval tin jardinière decorated with tulips and stylised leaves forming two side handles, created by the sculptor Frédéric Debon (active from 1897 to 1920). It is signed F. Debon on the body and bears the foundry mark of Susse Frères Éditeurs Paris, as well as the letter M stamped on the body. This piece of fine quality features remarkable modelling work, characteristic of the Art Nouveau period. Its beautiful old silver patina particularly highlights the reliefs of the floral decoration and attests to the nobility of the material. Beautiful original patina with some signs of use and internal oxidation consistent with its age. No chips or cracks.
