Modern painting signed by Leonardo Stroppa, female figure '900

Oil on hard panel. Signed at the bottom right. From the Campari corporate collection, the elegant lady holding a glass likely pays tribute to the famous aperitif and beverage company. Leonardo Stroppa, a painter from Turin, created numerous figurative subjects, as well as landscapes and floral compositions, often in watercolour or, alternatively, in oil paint. He used soft palettes and delicate pastel shades which, combined with broad brush strokes and softened outlines, give his works a touch of lightness. The artwork is presented in a frame.
