Discover this magnificent rare illustration featuring brown teal. ⭐ this work of a beautiful size of 44 ⭐ this engraving, printed in only 1470 copies, is a superb ornithological and zoological piece with these colors and details. ⭐ the plate, taken from a work illustrated by JM Seligmann, is a faithful reproduction of the Nuremberg edition of 1768. Published in Paris in 1973, it pays homage to the work of M. Catesby, naturalist and engraver from the 18th century century. The carefully colored plate captures the diversity and beauty of exotic birds. ⭐ it is in very good condition. Note the imperfections printed and resulting from the original engraving are also visible and give a nice extra vintage patina. ⭐ you will find on the board the name in French, Latin and German, as well as additional ornithology inscriptions in Latin.
