Dressing table in solid walnut, Louis XVI style, with mirror type psyche, maintained by two sculpted studs. Blocking pivots, made of brass cut into pinballs, make its tilt adjustable. This ice cream, sober, has a wood entourage with discreet mouldings. This piece of furniture consists of a overhanging tray with tab-cutting frame. Its central part is covered with a yellow patterned fabric on a red background, in very good condition, but which can be easily replaced, if desired. This top is protected by a glass with rounded edges, transparent and removable. The belt of this hairdresser sees its central part curved. It offers sideways two drawers assembled at queues d'arondes, with beech sides and mahogany rears. Both have chiseled brass draw buttons. The set rests on four tapered and fluted feet, with wooden rings on the ends. Note the presence of discrete white traces on the structure of this property, remnants of his old painting. But this irregularity undoubtedly brings charm to this hairdresser already full of elegance. We will also appreciate the possibility of customizing and reinventing this piece of furniture to infinity, simply by changing its furnishing fabric, which we will adapt according to the evolution of his desires or his decoration. One thing is certain: we will not tire of this centennial hairdresser. ******** Period: 1900 / 1920. Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop. Finish only waxed.
