Italian ceiling lamp mod. 4018, studio gpa monti for kartell

A large ceiling lamp. Model 4018, designed in 1961 by gianemilio & piero & anna monti (design studio gpa monti). This model is one of the first ceiling lights produced by kartell. Methacrylic sphere. Size: Base: diameter: 42 cm. Height: 37 cm. Everything (paint, small screws, light fixture, ceramic and brass lamp holder) is original, except the wiring has been put together. The ceiling lamp is in very good condition (it is 60 years old!) with some slight signs of use and age. The paint is beautiful and spotless, uniform color.
