Alboth & Kaiser vase with sunflower relief, 1960s

Footed vase in white glazed porcelain, decorated with two large relief sunflowers arranged on opposite sides. Its chalice shape, flared foot, and finely textured organic decoration are characteristic of German design from the late 1960s. According to several identical examples bearing the manufacturer's mark, this model is attributed to Alboth & Kaiser, also known as AK Kaiser, in Staffelstein, West Germany. Probable dating: around 1967–1970. The shape number 103 is considered, but not yet confirmed for this example. Overall good vintage condition. A very small chip is present on the upper rim and is clearly visible in the detail photograph. No visible cracks.
