Handmade wool Persian carpet Senneh Tapisif France 200x300

Oriental-style rug, made in France by the Tapisift manufacture (model Senneh, reference 14207, colour Taupe, dimensions 198 X 288 cm). Weaving is very likely hand-made given the thread and fringes. 100% pure combed wool (pure virgin wool). Treated against moths. Its design is directly inspired by Persian rugs from the Sanandaj region (formerly Senneh, in Iran). It features a classic repeating pattern on a taupe/honey background, framed by geometric borders and shades of navy blue, brick red, and ochre. The rug is in good condition and of very high quality. The pile is well preserved, the fringes are intact and clean, and the edges on the sides show no signs of major wear.
