Set of 8 blue checkered plates from Sarreguemines. The visible stamp on the back allows for precise dating of the plates: this coat of arms corresponds to a production from the late 19th century, specifically between 1875 and 1900. Stamp: The heraldic coat of arms: It features the arms of Lorraine (a gold band charged with three silver alerions), topped with a crenellated mural crown. This motif was widely used by the factory during the last quarter of the 19th century. Pieces bearing only the mention "Opaque de Sarreguemines" fit perfectly within this transitional period at the end of the 19th century. These plates are a testament to the golden age of the Sarreguemines pottery under the direction of the Utzschneider family. 2 plates show visible yellow marks in the last 2 photos.
