Five old plates Terre de fer from Choisy-Le-Roi HB and cie

The plates are in very good condition, no accidents, no cracks or chips, they probably haven't been used much, the enamel has remained very shiny. The slight marks that can be seen on the outer edges of the plates are not accidents, but traces left during manufacturing, at the time of the enameling stage, when the plates were soaked, held by claws. It should be noted that the enamel on the background is not white, it is ivory, and this is not due to yellowing or patina: it is simply the original color of this "arles" model, iron earth by choisy-le-roi hb and cie, from the very beginning of the 20th century. Very pretty delicate and serrated fir green frieze on the rim. The plates are marked intaglio under enamel, and with an ink stamp for one of them. Magnificent French production of high quality, whose reputation is well established.
