Beautiful pot to gaisser, lard or bacon, yellow ochre, has two ears, glossy full part in good condition of the production of the Castellet, near village of APT, 84 - Dept - Vaucluse. We forget often these popular utensils for the benefit of the great productions of the XVIII to today, of Apt and its famous Jaspers (land of brocaded) and Castellet with its very beautiful ochre beige dishes or ocher yellow, but in these two municipalities, was one production of simple objects of all day. The largest pottery was installed at the Cucuronne (Apt), the bridge CAP, owner until ' in 1885, followed by Cyrille Julien, who led it until his death in 1912 with 10 employees and offering terrines, pitchers, basins, pots, some Ewers of yellow or brown. This piece is in good condition, despite a few light gaps, see photos. These pieces are quite rare today in good condition because people were using them in flower pot and unfortunately gel deteriorating them.
