Pair of black and white plastic trinket bowls from the 1960s, originally designed as ashtrays by walter zeischegg for helit west germany. The model reference is sinus 84009 and they are made of melamine. The maker's mark on the underside reads "helit 84009 made in w germany / design w. Zeischegg ulm". An iconic piece of minimalist space age design, they can be used as trinket bowls, soap dishes or as decoration on a coffee table or sideboard. Dimensions: diameter: 18 cm. Height: 6.5 cm. Condition: excellent vintage condition overall with very minimal signs of wear, see photos for details. The maker's sticker is present on the black bowl.
