Vintage Chinese lacquered cabinet soapstone, mother-of-pearl / birds

DESCRIPTION: A unique Oriental cabinet. These cabinets are from the 1970s, during a revival of Chinoiserie. This style originated in the mid-18th century, when entire castles were filled with Chinese and Eastern furniture and objects. During the 1970s, these types of furniture were made and none are the same. All elements are applied by hand, always giving it an artistic touch. You can clearly see the hand-painted lines. It is painted on all sides, even on top. On the front and sides, birds and flowers are depicted with applied soapstone and mother-of-pearl. In short, a beautiful cabinet for an oriental interior.
