Set of 2 Lumax glass blocks. Made by Saint-Gobain, this is a must-have from the modernist years: Made of thick molded glass, it was designed by Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand. For the record, these two great architects/designers and this great manufacturer had designed this glass block after the war for construction! It then entered interiors with the help of the French decorator Jacques Adnet. As a pocket emptier, paperweight, ramekin, ashtray... This iconic object has what we can call presence. Very good condition, never used, however there is a chip below one of the pieces (see last photo) Dimensions: h.5 X 11.5 X 11.5 cm. Weight for the 2 pieces 1.7 kg Lumax stamp on each piece. ••• Careful shipping or hand delivery free of charge possible in Paris 20th. For international shipments not offered, please contact me.
