Vintage 1960s sideboard on casters, Scandinavian style

Large modernist sideboard from the 1960s, unsigned French work, in the Scandinavian style. Dark wood frame with sliding doors in light wood veneer, creating a beautiful, graphic, and inviting facade. In the center, a display niche is enclosed by two sliding glass doors, and below, a storage compartment is closed by two sliding wooden doors. On either side, large compartments with adjustable shelves, one of which is equipped with a very practical hanging drawer for cutlery or table linens. The piece rests on compass legs with a reinforcing bar and casters, making it easy to move despite its generous size. Perfect as a dining room china cabinet, a TV/hi-fi unit, or a large storage unit in a living room. Dimensions. • Height: 88.5 cm. • Width: 200 cm. • Depth: 44 cm. Condition. Good vintage condition: solid frame, doors and drawer function well. Some signs of wear, small scratches and discreet chips in the veneer on the edges and inside, top with slight marks – nothing structural, consistent with the age of the piece. Glass of the display case slightly patinated.
