XL extendable rectangular dining table in teak by H.W. Klein for Bramin

Beautiful extendable dining table from the Danish furniture factory Bramin. The name refers to the location of the factory, Braming in Jutland, Denmark. Bramin produced furniture in the high-end and exclusive segment, primarily solid wood furniture in rosewood, oak, or teak. This table, with its warm-coloured top and beautiful wide edge, is in exceptionally beautiful condition. Be sure to check the sides and corners of the legs, where organic shapes dominate and testify to great craftsmanship. This table is attributed to the renowned designer H.W. Klein, who worked full-time for Bramin. Originally from Norway, Klein had a background in mathematics and linguistics. In 1949, he began his training at the Frederikberg Tekniske Skole in Denmark and moved there in the early 1950s. His mentor was the designer Finn Juhl. Klein's work is characterised by clean lines and perfect balance, with fantastic use and finishing of materials. His work was produced by Bramin and only a few other high-end manufacturers, making it still very exclusive. This table is in fully restored condition, with minimal signs of use. The table comes with a separate extension to enlarge it. The entire top is also equipped with a nearly invisible durable coating that will protect the table from grease, dirt, and moisture. The legs are very easy to unscrew, making the table easy to transport and place in smaller homes or homes with a narrow staircase.
