Old rustic wooden chair – carved backrest – seat in fibres

I am selling this old rustic wooden chair, traditionally made, with a very beautiful patina. It features a slightly curved backrest, composed of two worked crossbars, one of which is a wide upper crossbar adorned with a sculpted decoration and a central openwork motif. The seat is made of woven plant fibres, using a traditional technique, with a lovely fan-shaped weave. The wood shows an old patina and signs of use, which testify to its history and give it a lot of charm. A solid chair full of character, ideal for an old house, a farm, a longhouse, or rustic/country decor. It can also be used as an extra chair or simply as a decorative element. Period: first half of the 20th century. Materials: wood and woven plant fibres. Condition: generally good condition considering its age, with visible signs of use and patina in the photos.
