Antique Empire walnut chest of drawers

Antique Empire-style commode in solid walnut, characterised by its clean lines, upper drawer with a rounded front, and brass lock entries and knobs. Crafted from wood with a warm and contrasting grain, it highlights the natural depth of its brown hues. Its elegant proportions and timeless appearance make it a striking centrepiece in a bedroom or living space. Condition: The piece is healthy, stable, and perfectly functional, with a structure and drawers that allow for easy daily use. The overall finish shows authentic signs of use, including some superficial micro-scratches, slight variations in varnish, and discreet marks on the edges and sides (visible in the photographs). These minute signs of time attest to its authenticity and lend the furniture a charmingly patinated appeal.
