Mid-century chandelier with pendants

Suspension with pendants of Swedish origin, it takes the principle of the classic chandelier but in a more compact and graphic version, with a lot of character, reminiscent of designs from the 1960s-1970s. It consists of two moulded glass shades: at the top, a cylinder with a diamond point pattern, topped with a brushed aluminium ring; at the bottom, an ornate part, visible between the pendants. Between the two, a finely perforated brushed aluminium crown with vertical slits, from which large prismatic glass pendants descend. It is suspended by a brass chain and accompanied by its conical brass canopy for ceiling attachment. The pendants are connected at the bottom by small metal hooks, forming a continuous skirt around the glass. When lit, the light passes through the moulded glass and the facets of the pendants, which sparkle. Above a dining table, in an entrance or hallway, it adds a touch of brilliance without the bulk of a large chandelier. It pairs well with both antique furniture and a more minimalist interior. Accessories: 38 cm brass chain and cable, conical brass canopy, E27 socket. Condition: very good apparent condition, complete pendants, with no visible chips or cracks.
