Gorgeous old Romanian kilim, geometrical design, colorful wool tapis kilim Tapis roumain

This beautiful rug is made about 70 years ago, the colors are very beautiful, blue and pink on a burgundy backgrounds with a colorful frame around and yellow, porange and blue accents at the terminations. The wool may have shades because it was tinted manually using traditional techniques. The yellow accents gives it light and even more charm. It is made in a horizontal loom in a little village from the historical region of banat, west romania. 214x140cm. Some marks of the time, old, about 1950. Geometrical design, very easy to be integrated in a scandinavian style decor, an eclectic but also an industrial or modern decor.
