Rare U416 armchair by Jens Risom, 1950s/60s, walnut & green fabric. Elegant vintage lounge chair attributed to Danish-American designer Jens Risom, dating from the 1950s/60s. Very beautiful mid-century modern line with a solid walnut stained wood structure, tapered splayed legs, and a suspended backrest with iconic proportions of Scandinavian-American design. Generous and comfortable seat. Foam, wood, and fabric fully renovated by a professional (February 2026). It has been reupholstered in a textured sage/olive green fabric true to the design of the piece. Beautiful patina of the wood, healthy and stable structure. Some discreet signs of age consistent with its years. A characterful and timeless piece. Very good condition.
