Black leather and chrome steel office chair, Italy 1990

Elegant and timeless, this Italian cantilever chair embodies the excellence of high-end office furniture from the 1990s: a bold nod to the Bauhaus pioneers, enhanced by a discreet luxury typical of executive offices of the time. The line, taut and streamlined, appears to suspend the seat in mid-air; this calculated flexibility offers a pleasant cushioning that, combined with the generous padding of the seat and backrest, ensures lasting comfort during extended work sessions. Its flat-section chrome steel base, bent in one piece, provides great stability, a natural cushioning typical of "sled" structures, and a spectacular mirror-like shine. The full chrome tube armrests harmoniously extend the frame while enhancing overall ergonomics. The seat and backrest are upholstered in thick black full-grain leather, stretched over a bent beech plywood shell. Comfort is ensured by high-density cold-moulded polyurethane foam padding, guaranteeing excellent support and lasting durability. The design of the chair, slightly tilted backward, follows the lines of the body and invites prolonged use, whether around a meeting table, in a refined waiting room, or in a contemporary interior.
