Lorraine Art Populaire chair at the end of the 19th century with a baluster back

The chair is in perfect condition. Beautiful patina, moving traces of use, but no damage, it is very healthy. It was probably made by a cabinetmaker at the end of the 19th century, with older pieces of wood, the top of the chair (balustre) is ash, reconsable to its long veins, and the bottom in poplar. It is very well made, fully tangled, solid and light. Very nice proportions, and elegance of lines have given themselves here appointment. The seat is 47 cm from the ground. It has been waxed with natural beeswax, and to maintain it, it will be enough to rub it from time to time with a clean cloth. The seat, all made of wood, is typical of lorraines chairs, and measures 37.5 cm by 31 cm. The folder, embellished with a baluster, is unusual.
