Musical instrument box Thibouville-Lamy 1910s

This beautiful box is a piece of french music history. Thanks to the crest nailed inside, I was able to determine that it is a box for small musical instrument manufactured by the manufacture jérome thibouville-lamy, specialist recognized worldwide in the manufacture of stringed instruments in the 19th century. And with the help of a luthier from mirecourt, I was able to find the trace of the locks in a thibouville-lamy catalog dating from 1912 (see photo), so we can date this box from that time. I left it in its juice, barely dusted, to leave the possibility to an enthusiast to have it restored in the rules of the art. It therefore has many problems: many marks and stains, wooden parts are disjointed, protrude a little (i think this box has already been "repaired" but unfortunately in a hurry). The interior is completely faded, stained, what remains of fabric is in a pitiful state. Only positive point, apart from the fact that this box still exists, is that its locks are functional and rather in good condition, the two side locks open by pulling on the small round buttons, but I did not dare to close the main lock because unfortunately the key is no longer there. It is 34 cm wide, 26 cm deep and 14.5 cm high. It weighs just under 1.1 kg.
