Lotus is the successor of famous model 1611. Beech wood was replaced with teak or rosewood and the wooden frame was installed on a metal stand. Like the previous model, the cushions are a separate part of the armchair, which makes keeping the furniture in a perfect condition much easier. The lotus model had been manufactured by the gelderland factory throughout the 1960s.
