Coffee service Ceramic of Vallauris, Cobalt Foaming Glaze

Magnificent coffee or tea service in ceramic from Vallauris, characterised by its distinctive frothy cobalt blue and white glaze, typical of the 1950s-60s. As a guarantee of its authenticity, the "VALLAURIS" stamp is engraved in relief and clearly visible under the base of the teapot as well as under the sugar bowl. The set includes the large teapot (or coffee pot), the sugar bowl, and the matching cups. Condition: The set displays a beautiful shine and remains in good overall condition for its age. It shows some minor signs of wear, detailed here transparently (and visible in the photos): Teapot: A tiny chip on the upper rim of the body (just under the lid). Note for the spout: it has a slight visual effect related to manufacturing, possibly due to glazing, but does not have the gritty feel of a chip to the touch. Cup: A small chip on the handle of one of the cups (similar to the one under the lid of the teapot). Sugar bowl: Very good condition. An elegant, authentic, and highly decorative set for lovers of French art ceramics. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions!.
