Set of two vintage poplar wood benches, 1920–1950

Set of two vintage benches dating from around 1920–1950, originating from France. Made from solid poplar wood, they feature thick seats, shaped supports, and a simple reinforced construction, giving them a marked architectural appearance. Originally designed as benches, they can also serve as low display tables or, when stacked, as a freestanding shelf. Their clean design fits well in both rustic and contemporary interiors. The wood has developed a beautiful natural patina over time, with marks and irregularities reflecting decades of use. Both benches are sturdy, stable, and ready for use. In good vintage condition with normal wear related to age, marks, small dents, and natural imperfections. There are signs of old woodworm, treated as a precaution.
