Maugrion Roche Bobois prestige rattan wheat ear table 1980

Maugrion for Roche Bobois, circa 1980. Table from the Le Ratin Prestige collection, wheat sheaf model. Round table leg representing a wheat sheaf joined in its center by a sort of braid also in rattan, wood varnish in rosewood color and varnish. Original label on the back: Maugrion Ratin Prestige. Table topped with a large, round, thick glass top 130 cm in diameter. For the record, the Maugrion family are rattan workers from father to son. It was in the 80s that the Roche-Boubois "collections" marketed the wood and rattan range of Editions Maugrion (founded by Roger Maugrion in Bayeux, Calvados, around 1960), specialists in "Prestige rattan" made in France. In very good condition, some signs of wear on the rattan (small dents on the edges but very light). Collector's item. 130 X 74 cm. Clean, fast and careful delivery.
